R.M. Machining Inc. (San Carlos, Calif.) is proud to announce its successful passes thier first AS9100 Rev C audit with no findings. R.M. Machining also holds the ISO9001:2008 certification.
The certifications set the standards for aerospace quality management and is recognized throughout the aerospace industry.
“Earning the certifications was a difficult process. Not only did it require capital, it required time and buy in from everyone in the company. For us it's not just a piece of paper on the wall. It really is a system that we run our business by,” said QA Coordinator Michelle K. Myhre.
The woman-owned world class precision machine shop received it's AS9100:2009 certification on June 17th, 2011, on May 16, 2012, they completed their first surveillance audit.
“It gives us a framework in which we use in our business practice on the shop floor and other aspects that are important to our customers such as delivery and quality,” said President Karen Myhre.
