R.M. Machining Achieves AS9100 C and ISO9001

R.M. Machining, Inc., a woman owned precision machine shop, providing milling and turning services to the aerospace, defense, medical and electronic markets, announced on July 9, 2014 the success completion of an AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008 audit at its location in San Carlos, CA by Det Norkse Veritas. Det Norske Veritas Certification Inc, is accredited under the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) Scheme.

AS9100 is an International Standard specifying the requirements for a quality management system where an organization a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

R.M. Machining has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998 and has been AS9100 certified since 2007. As a small business, R.M. Machining’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and exceeding customer expectation exemplify our focus on total quality control within our organization.
