R.M. Machining Renews ITAR Registration

Updated: Jan 10, 2019

R.M. Machining, a woman owned precision machining shop specializing in the manufacture of metal and plastic components for the electronic, computer, aerospace, and medical industries have successfully renewed their official International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration from the US Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Control.

The International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) is a set of United States government regulations that control the export and import of items, equipment, technologies, services, and technical data that are primarily military in nature. The Office of Defense Trade Controls in the State Department interprets and enforces ITAR. Its goal is to safeguard U.S. national security and further U.S. foreign policy objectives.

"Our ITAR Registration shows our continued support and commitment to our aerospace and defense customers and the important work they are doing, " says Robert Myhre, Vice President of R.M. Machining.

A commitment to ITAR compliance ensures R.M. Machining, Inc. has the knowledge, ability and oversight to meet the unique needs of the defense and aerospace industry. R.M. Machining's ITAR registration expires 30 September 2019.

A copy of our registration letter from the U.S. Department of State may be requested by emailing Michelle@rm-machining.com. According to the U.S. Dept. of State website, the registration code is proprietary to the registrant and should not be posted online, so it has been omitted from the registration letter.
