Conflict Minerals Policy Statement

R.M. Machining is committed to support the aims and objectives of the U.S. legislation on the supply of "conflict minerals" as directed by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. We support and respect the protection of human rights. We believe in treating people with respect and dignity, and incorporate these principles into our business processes and relationships.

R.M. Machining accomplishes this through the following means:

Do not knowingly procure specified metals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG)) that originate from facilities in the "Conflict Region" that are not certified as "conflict free".

Ensure compliance with requirements, and ask our suppliers to undertake reasonable due diligence with their supply chains to assure that specified metals are being sourced only from:

Mines and smelters outside the "conflict region" or

Mines and smelters that have been certified by an independent third party as "conflict free" if within the "conflict region".

RM Machining does not source directly from smelters or mines.  Due diligence is utilized to evaluate our suppliers. Suppliers who provide materials or components that contain tin, tantalum, tungsten, and or gold are reviewed and approved based on our ability to assure conflict free minerals used in their products. When applicable, we require suppliers to provide compliance documentation.
